Going
to the gym, a run in the park/power walk or an exercise class, you
wouldn’t leave home without your trainers so why aren’t you wearing a
proper sports bra? Many women forgo them and wear normal bras. When in
the gym I have seen a few women wearing two bras thinking this will give
them extra support.
As an ex-bra fitting model for an international sports bra company I can say from experience that a good sports bra is essential when working out. It’s important to me that I look after my girls and I work out at least 4 or 5 times a week. They are an investment, like you invest in your feet by buying good quality trainers the same should be for a sports bra.
Worried about the price? Buy one that your purse will stretch too. Try not to skimp on the cut or the style. Places like www.tkmaxx.com often have a variety of sports bras available. If you are blessed with a good pair of ‘girls’ then invest in a good sports bra. Don’t be swayed into thinking that they need only minimal support! No one likes droopy boobs, think of your future and of theres too. Even if you have had breast implants you still need to wear a sports bra.
Whatever your sport, you need to wear a sports bra. There are different types available for different sports. Many women overlook sports bras, I am a regular in the gym and see some pretty awful sights, including women wearing two bras for extra support. All breasts need support, regardless of size. Even an A cup will move 4cm in breast bounce when exercising.
A sports bra is twice as effective at reducing breast bounce than a normal bra when exercising.
One of the main benefits to wearing a sports bra is the support you get. Although it's important to size it right. If you go to a mixed gym you don’t want everyone to be focusing on your bouncing breasts. A good bra gives you support.
NO BOUNCE
Wearing a good fitting sports bra and your girls stay in place. No bounce. It’s important that the straps are secure and the band underneath is fitted tight enough (that you can also breathe too). You can run, do star jumps even High Intensity Impact workout and the girls stay in place.
FOUR BOOBS
Boob spillage, definitely not a good look in the gym let alone in your normal clothes. You don’t want to distract the men and bring attention to yourself for all the wrong reasons. I have seen both small and large breasted women with this. Just invest in a proper fitting sports bra.
COMFORT
Not only top spillage is illuminated also side boob too. You get side support as well as breast support, there's no worry of overlapping anywhere either.
Still wondering should you forgo a sports bra, I hope this has helped you make up your mind that you shouldn't.
